Results from the Psychometric tests (Personal Profiling Analysis- PPA) can prove to be a very useful tool. At Ad Astra Partnership we have many clients who have used the PPA results not just in the recruitment stages but also in the development and promotion of staff and to have a better understanding of what motivates them. Many companies will profile at the short listing stages and ask for this to be done “on line” prior to the interviews. This ensures that they have complete understanding of each individuals behavioural characteristics and gives the interviewer the opportunity to develop questions more specifically for each candidate.
Executive Network are encouraging all their clients to complete a Human Job Analysis HJA – the HJA is an unique questionnaire and the results are plotted on a graph, this provides an objective view of a particular role and indicates the behavioural style of the best suited to fill it. Combining both the Human Job Analysis and the Personal Profile we can see how each individual would fit the role, giving more information than can be gained from just interviewing alone.
