	Reference VAC-0865 Job Title General Manager Salary £60,000 to £70,000 per annum Locations North Contract Type Contract Job Description This is an opportunity for a career driven and dynamic General Manager to further their career within one of the largest chilled food manufacturers within the UK. The Company Our client is one of the largest producers of meat products in the UK. Their portfolio of high quality products ranges from fresh pork, to savoury snacks. With their primary focus being on creating food of the highest quality from farms in the UK and Europe they are constantly setting new precedents in the industry. The Role As the General Manager, you will be expected to devise and execute an effective business strategy to elevate the company to new levels of success. You will use your commercial and operational acumen to increase turnover, increase productivity and streamline all aspects of the business that falls under your remit of responsibility. As the successful General Manager you will be expected to lead, direct and develop the operational activities of the company. The Successful General Manager will have: - Experience within the meat industry or relevant industry. - Full P&L responsibility - Experience in sourcing raw materials. - Process’s & product development - Managed company KPI’s and achieved sales growth, managing sales teams - Evidence of working within a sophisticated manufacturing environment & full knowledge of twenty first century management process. Candidates must be able to demonstrate an impeccable track record of overachievement and success as a General Manager with year-on-year profit and sales growth operating under a culture of change and continuous improvement.
