This role is ideal for someone who knows how to cut costs without cutting corners, someone who doesn’t economise when it comes to results. As the Trading Controller you will drive growth in this rapidly expanding and critical side of the business. Primary responsibilities within this role include: Producing and delivering sales, profit and contribution budgets, Composing, delivering and reviewing annual strategy, Negotiating favourable buying terms with suppliers and controlling product pricing policies, Conceiving, delivering and monitoring promotional activity, Interpreting appropriate market research activity and recommending strategy, Creating open and effective relationships with key customers and suppliers. Currently working within a buying function with a good understanding of the FMCG sector and with a flair for negotiating; you will use your strong commercial acumen to thrive in this competitive environment that rewards outstanding performance.
