This leading national foodservice company has over 30 years experience in the industry. They are at the forefront on innovation having recently launched over 50 new products. The company prides itself on delivering quality catering supplies for chilled and frozen food solutions into foodservice establishments.



This family-owned food company is looking for an energetic Territory Sales Representative in a business development role responsible for the SW London Region. Responsible for the developement of accounts, in charge of developing the turnover of strategic clients by establishing customer loyalty and negotiating commercial terms and conditions (products, volume, price). You will be Selling to leading foodservice companies, you will be working for a business which has been accredited with praiseworthy testimonials concerning its products as well as it’s commitment to customer service.



The successful Territory Sales Manager will:



Establish the sales policy by client type



Establish customer loyalty and stimulate the account client base



Make proposals and be able to give solutions to the clients



Negotiate the sales contracts: volumes, terms & conditions, price



Optimise margins and profitability



Act as an interface between the clients and the company



Visit clients on a current basis to establish a loyal relation and to put forward the company image



Check and communicate information on deliveries, product availability and reorder



Measure on a regular basis the results vs targets



The ideal candidate will possess:



Experience working as a chef or territory sales background



Detailed knowledge of the food industry in particular seafood



Knowledge of how to personalise selling to clients



Experience in negotiating contracts at a senior level



A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets



Experience in one of the following roles: Area Sales Manager, Account Manager, Business Development Manager



In return, you will receive a £25,000 OTE (consisting of £21,000 basic and £4,000 bonus and company car, and phone.
