	Reference 331.006.74 Job Title Operations Development Manager Salary £35,000 to £40,000 per annum Salary Description Up to £40k + Benefits Locations Midlands Contract Type Permanent Job Description The Company Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of fresh and chilled foods to leading retailers and food service operators. This award winning business is now looking to add an Operations Development Manager to its already successful team. As Operation development manager you will develop and drive the manufacturing strategy and oversee the production function. The company has a heritage stretching back over a century and believes in making quality products to be proud of. The Role The successful candidate will report directly to the Operations Director and will have the opportunity to work in an expanding and diverse Food Production unit. The main objectives for the role will be to continuously achieve operational improvements across all business functions, to include manufacturing, engineering, hygiene and supply chain. The ideal Operations Development Manager will: - Currently hold the position of; Operations manager, Shift manager, Continuous improvement manager (or equivalent), Assistant Factory Manager, Assistant Operations Manager. - Preferably be degree educated. - Have extensive experience within food manufacturing. - Have a chilled food industry understanding. - Have the ability to influence change. - Have an outgoing and persuasive attitude. In return you will receive salary up to £40k + benefits.
