Job Description

Our client is looking for exceptional National Account Manager’s to work in one of the worlds largest food companies based at their Head Office. This FMCG company markets category leaders into a vast number of countries globally having offices and manufacturing sites in more than 25 countries. Established for over a century the company has annual sales of over £1 Billion. In a time of economic downturn the company continues to grow with the share price rising and has enjoyed 6 year double digit growth. Frequently rated as one of the best places to work by a variety of national publications they are renowned for its ability to fast track exceptional employees.



You will be responsible for managing a top 4 Grocery retail account working with some of the best performing brands in the company portfolio which has achieved over 60% growth last year.



The successful National Account Manager will:



Manage all aspects of the grocery retail account including management of promotions internally and externally, invoicing, NPD and sampling



Work within critical paths



Undertake presentations with Senior Buyers on Joint Business planning, Brand Planning, NPD Strategy



Demonstrate highly effective interpersonal and negotiating skills



Successfully achieve year on year growth within the category



Successfully liaise in a cross functional role with supply chain, marketing, finance and customer services.



Optimise margins and profitability



The ideal candidate will possess:



Experience managing a top 4 Grocery Retail Account



Experience working with a leading FMCG Brand



Exceptional Category Management Knowledge



Experience working in a cross functional role in a fast paced environment



A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets



Experience in one of the following roles: Key Account Manager, National Account Executive National Account Manager, Business Development Manager



In return, you will receive up to a £40,000 salary + 13% bonus + Car + Pension + Healthcare + laptop + phone
